Sam’s interests are in sport-related injuries and performance which is what started his career path in physiotherapy. Sam graduated with a Bachelor of Human Kinetics from UBCO where he spent 2 years working with the Varsity Men’s Basketball team. He moved to Vancouver to work as a Kinesiologist before graduating with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from UBC. Throughout this journey, Sam has treated a variety of populations from the weekend warrior to collegiate and professional athletes.

Over the last few years Sam worked as a Physiotherapist in Vancouver and Powell River. He has taken additional training in IMS/dry needling, manual therapy, adolescent scoliosis, and golf performance with the Titleist Performance Institute. Sam appreciates that any injury or condition requires an individualized approach to treatment; his philosophy is to implement an eclectic approach to help people achieve their goals. When he isn’t in the clinic you are likely to find Sam in the outdoors either hiking, mountain biking, or golfing.
